Mr. Benefield’s practice is devoted to patent litigation matters involving highly complex technical and legal issues.  He has been involved in cases dealing with technology such as contact lens polymers, software applications, security software, lighting components, and telecommunications.  Mr. Benefield has also gained patent litigation experience working as the briefing attorney for Judge Everingham, United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Texas—Marshall Division.
