Mr. Pfeifer’s practice within the field of intellectual property focuses primarily on patent litigation and patent prosecution. As an Associate, he has assisted with litigation and prosecution matters involving semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment, oil field equipment and technology and other mechanical equipment and devices. Mr. Pfeifer handles intellectual property matters for a variety of companies.
Prior to entering the practice of law, Mr. Pfeifer practiced professionally as a mechanical engineer for over 25 years, most recently for Fluor Enterprises, Inc., a large multi-national engineering and construction firm. He is highly experienced in the design and manufacture of fixed process equipment used in the refining, chemical and petrochemical industries, including pressure vessels, reactors, shell-and-tube heat exchangers and boilers. He has also authored and published numerous technical papers within the field of pressure vessel manufacture and design, and served on several ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code technical committees.

Mr. Pfeifer is a member of the State Bar of Texas, and a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas. He is also admitted to practice in the Eastern District of Texas.
