Mr. Buss has litigated numerous patent, trade secret and trade dress cases in the biotechnology, mechanical, computer, semiconductor and chemical arts. Brian is an accomplished litigator and has extensive experience in all aspects of pre-litigation strategy, preliminary injunction hearings, Markman hearings, trial preparation and trial. Brian has also performed many patent infringement and validity analyses in areas covering biotechnology, chemical and mechanical patents. Prior to focusing his practice on litigation and patent counseling, Brian prosecuted patents involving chemical and mechanical inventions. His representations in prosecution matters include clients in the chemical, biotechnology, mechanical and computer fields.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS
Mr. Buss is experienced in patent litigation, and has represented clients such as Dell Inc., Hydrogenics Corp, ON Semiconductor, AmeriMerchant, RapidPay LLC, Reach Financial, International Rectifier, Auto Wax Co., Inc., Golfsmith, Favelle Favco Cranes, 3M, Metrocall, and Monsanto. Mr. Buss also has experience representing clients in Texas trade secret cases and trade dress cases and has defended clients in preliminary injunction proceedings.
